Put simply, a court jester is known to entertain noblemen. Song, storytelling, and acrobatics are all fair game when it comes to a jester’s skillset. The Jester, though, is capable of more. The Jester is a companion; a source of honesty delivered with humor and mockery. The Jester does not just juggle or jig to amuse the courts. He provides layers of eccentric communication amongst the masses with protection from the ruling body. The Jester wears the classic cap and bells, and is often seen holding a marotte when providing entertainment. These two pieces denote his status and protection under the law. His dark eyes and continuous smirk show something hiding under the surface, as if he always has a secret waiting to be revealed.
